Donald Trump, in a Thanksgiving message, has once again stirred controversy by labeling New York Attorney General Letitia James as “racist and incompetent.” This remark came amidst his ongoing legal battle involving a New York civil fraud case.

According to the report by a BNN, Trump, known for his bold use of capital letters in social media posts, expressed his frustration over the case and the recent denial of a mistrial by Judge Arthur Engoron. He criticized Engoron, calling him a “psycho,” and continued to allege political bias in the proceedings.

The lawsuit in question could potentially prohibit Trump from conducting business in New York and seeks over $300 million in penalties. It alleges significant exaggeration of Trump’s wealth in financial statements by him, his company, and top executives.

Judge Engoron has already found evidence of fraud, with the trial set to address additional accusations of conspiracy, insurance fraud, and falsifying business records. The decision rests with Engoron rather than a jury.

Trump’s legal challenges are mounting, as he faces numerous charges across multiple criminal cases. Adding to this, he recently mourned the loss of his older sister, Maryanne Barry Trump. While Maryanne had initially supported Trump’s political endeavors, she later expressed private criticism, questioning his principles and labeling him as “cruel.”

In a secretly recorded conversation revealed by The Washington Post in 2020, Maryanne reportedly criticized Trump’s lack of principles and his approach to politics. The recording, made by their niece Mary Trump, exposed deep family rifts.

Mary Trump, engaged in a legal battle with her uncle, accused him and certain New York Times reporters of orchestrating a plot to obtain his tax records. The family’s internal disputes continue to be a subject of public interest, with Trump recently slamming the media for its treatment of his sister since his presidential run.

Despite the tensions, sources suggest that Maryanne and Donald Trump were on the path to reconciling, having met over the summer. Maryanne’s judicial career, which saw her appointed to significant roles under Presidents Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, has been partially attributed to Trump’s influence.
